SharePoint Multilingual Page Publishing SharePoint has a new feature, where it can create copies of modern pages for translation to other languages. Find out more about SharePoint Multilingual Page Publishing. By itself, the new feature doesn't translate, it asks you to translate. To get those pages translated automatically, just add PointFire Translator. To see it translating pages, here is a demo of translation for Multilingual Page Publishing
Translates Native SharePoint Multilingual Page Publishing The SharePoint out-of-the-box Multilingual Page Publishing feature works with site pages and news posts on Communication sites. PointFire Translator will translate the page title, the content of Text and Hero webparts, among other page components. PointFire Translator also works with any other modern or classic page, which are not supported by the SharePoint out-of-the-box feature (supported by PointFire 365).
Also Translates Other SharePoint Components PointFire Translator will translate documents of all types including PPT and PDF, documents in OneDrive, and list items.
Translates To Over 50 Languages The back end is Microsoft's latest top-quality neural machine translation engines, including their "human parity" engines, or an engine that you re-train on your own documents so it adopts your vocabulary and style. It translates to over 50 languages, and we add more every year.
None of your data goes to our servers We are conscious that this software will read and write your pages and documents, so we do not host any part of it, and none is under our control. It means you have to provide a bit of physical or virtual hardware and use your own Azure accounts, but that's worth it for the security.
Scriptable, Automatable You can translate pages or documents automatically, or you can do it using the menu in SharePoint, or you can script it, or you can translate entire libraries at once. The choice is yours.
How do you make sure that everyone sees things in their own language? If you're using the SharePoint out-of-the-box feature, there is some redirection to modern pages in the sites where it is supported. If you're using PointFire 365, you can also make sure all pages on all sites are in the right language, and all documents, as well as the user interface.
