Changing your Microsoft 365 language now that Delve is gone

Until Dec 16, 2024, the way to change your Microsoft 365 profile language was via Delve. But now Delve is gone.

How do you change your language, your time zone, and your regional settings?

The procedure is only slightly different from before.

1. In your personal menu, click on My Microsoft 365 Profile (unchanged)

2. Click on Update your profile under your name (different page, different place, but
similar)

3. Click on “Data and privacy”

4. Click on the word "here"  (same word, different context)

5. click on the ellipsis (...) and then choose Language and Region (unchanged from here)

6. Under Language/Language Preference/My Display Languages, delete the current language

7. Click on Pick a new language and select the new language

8. Note: there are lots of different versions of the language. It doesn't matter which one you pick, with the exception of Portuguese and Chinese, where it does matter

9. Click on "Add"

10. Scroll to the bottom, and click "Save all and close"

11. Wait about 10 to 15 minutes.  It's hard to tell how long you have to wait for it to take effect

12. Parts of the page, like Hub navigation and personal and site menus will be in the right language when you come back tomorrow.

We hope this helps.
